Президент Беларуси Александр Лукашенко поручил сделать очередной шаг в развитии пострадавших чернобыльских районов. Об этом он заявил, отвечая на вопросы журналистов во время посещения Полесского радиационно-экологического заповедника, передает корреспондент БЕЛТА.
"Нужна новая конкретная программа с точками - где будут жить люди и чем они будут заниматься. За лето правительство со специалистами подготовит конкретную программу с ответами на вопрос, что мы будем делать в заповеднике", - сказал Президент.
"Я каждый год топтал эти земли и убедился, что решение правильное. Жить и работать здесь можно. Это уже не стратегия. Стратегия понятна. И мы должны реализовать ее через конкретные программы и инвестиции", - заявил Александр Лукашенко.
Глава государства рассказал, что первой его задачей 20 с лишним лет назад было сделать так, чтобы ушел страх в отношении темы Чернобыля: "Где-то запугали - объективно, субъективно. Ситуация была непростая. Надо было успокоить людей, разобраться самим. Надо было психологически преодолеть этот страх".
В Гомеле была создана научная и медицинская база по изучению соответствующих проблем, а сейчас отечественные наработки востребованы и в других странах, в частности в Японии.
Далее на протяжении лет велась дальнейшая работа по возрождению и реабилитации чернобыльских территорий. "Мы сделали ряд шагов и продемонстрировали людям, что здесь надо и можно жить, - сказал Президент. - Мы преодолели психологически этот барьер. Потом начали потихоньку исследовать земли. И мы видим, что их надо в оборот запускать".
Александр Лукашенко отметил, что была критика на этот счет, но время показало правильность выбранного пути.
"За лето мы создадим программу и будем видеть, что надо в Наровле, что в Брагине, что в Хойниках. Это три основных района. Ветку мы более-менее подтянули. И будем видеть, что нам нужно еще сделать на юге Беларуси. Еще где-то что-то построим в других районах, которые не так загрязнены, как эти три", - сказал Президент.
Он отметил, что это будет третий крупный шаг в освоении этих территорий. "Ну не можем мы юг Беларуси отдать природе. Мы должны от этой природы что-то получить. Аккуратно, не перегибая. Главное, конечно, безопасность, чтобы люди себя чувствовали в безопасности, не боялись. Мы на практике убедились, что поступили правильно, что не бросили эти земли", - добавил глава государства.
