БГУ показал самые высокие позиции за всю историю участия в мировом рейтинге QS. Новый выпуск рейтинга лучших университетов мира QS опубликован 10 июня, сообщили БЕЛТА в пресс-службе вуза.
В нынешней версии БГУ занимает 317-е место, улучшив свои показатели на 34 позиции среди 1002 ранжируемых вузов. Это лучший результат за всю историю участия в данном рейтинге, который приближает белорусский вуз к престижному 1% лучших университетов мира. В 2019 году Белгосуниверситет размещался на 351-й позиции, в 2018-м - на 354-й, 2017-м - 334-й. Из других белорусских вузов в QS представлен только БНТУ, сохранивший свои позиции в группе 801-1000. Всего в мире насчитывается около 30 000 вузов.
Глобальный рейтинг университетов QS является самым популярным и упоминаемым в мире источником информации об университетах. Его критериями выступают количественные данные о высшем учебном заведении, цитирование научных трудов за последние пять лет, число иностранных преподавателей и студентов, опросы порядка миллиона независимых академических экспертов и работодателей со всего мира. Последнему индикатору отводится 50% ранжируемой оценки. Положительная динамика БГУ в QS обусловлена ростом этих показателей. В частности, за счет улучшения репутации и увеличения числа иностранных обучающихся.
Согласно новой версии рейтинга, БГУ впервые опередил польские университеты и традиционно вузы Литвы, Латвии и Украины: Варшавский университет разместился на 321-м месте, Вильнюсский университет - 423-й, Харьковский национальный университет имени В.Н.Каразина - 477-й, Рижский технический университет - 701-й. Из эстонских вузов лучшие позиции у Университета Тарту (285). Российский список вузов в рейтинге QS представлен 28 учреждениями. Лидерами остаются МГУ имени М.В.Ломоносова (74), Санкт-Петербургский государственный университет (225) и Новосибирский государственный университет (228).
Тройку лидеров QS составили американские вузы: Массачусетский технологический институт, Стэнфордский университет и Гарвардский университет.
Рейтинг QS вместе с Шанхайским и THE входит в большую тройку самых авторитетных мировых рейтингов. Эти известные рейтинговые агентства оценивают деятельность первой тысячи. Представленность в данном шорт-листе является показателем признания вуза в мировом образовательном пространстве. Кроме того, международная рейтинговая оценка существенно влияет на выбор вуза иностранными абитуриентами. К слову, в Туркменистане будут признаваться только дипломы зарубежных университетов, входящих в первую 1000 вузов.
Всего существует более 20 разнообразных глобальных рейтингов. БГУ участвует в рейтингах 12 агентств.
