El Presidente de Belarús, Aleksandr Lukashenko, confirma la orientación al desarrollo de unas relaciones estrechas con Venezuela y su aspiración a visitar dicho país. El Jefe de Estado lo declaró en el trascurso de la entrevista con el vicepresidente de Venezuela, Ricardo Menéndez.
Según el Presidente belaruso, las relaciones políticas y diplomáticas bilaterales siguen siendo amistosas y fraternales. Aleksandr Lukashenko aseguró de que Belarús hará todo lo posible para el éxito de Venezuela. “Acordamos elaborar la hoja de ruta para intensificar nuestro desarrollo bilateral en el contexto de la situación actual. En 2018 durante mi visita a Venezuela podremos avanzar considerablemente en nuestras relaciones. Y no sólo aprobar sino empezar a poner en práctica la hoja de ruta mencionada”, enfatizó el estadista belaruso.
El Jefe de Estado destacó que hay problemas sin resolver en las relaciones bilaterales, sin embargo, no deben frenar el fomento de la cooperación. “Si hoy en día no podemos solucionar un problema, hay que dejarlo aparte y elaborar la hoja de ruta de una manera que nos permita avanzar”, subrayó Aleksandr Lukashenko. En el caso contrario, considera el Presidente, las partes correrán el riesgo de perder más de lo adquirido esperando la resolución de los problemas en sus relaciones.
“Hoy en día tenemos lo que necesitan y viceversa. Es un hecho que promete beneficio económico. Debe ser la base de nuestros acuerdos y la hoja de ruta”, añadió.
Aleksandr Lukashenko recalcó que mucho depende de la visita actual de Ricardo Menéndez a Belarús y la sesión de la comisión intergubernamental conjunta. “Por lo menos, de esto depende el contenido de la nueva página de nuestras relaciones”, detalló.
