The telephone conversation between the presidents of Belarus and France on 24 May, initiated by the French side, reflects a growing interest in restoring normal contacts and communication after several years of their absence, Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Sekreta said on the air of the First News TV Channel, BelTA reports.
“Such conversations do not happen without reason. This clearly reflects a growing interest in Belarus’ role and place in Europe. It is a manifestation of the need for dialogue. Yesterday, the leaders of our countries held a fairly lengthy conversation. They discussed regional issues, regional security, as well as Belarus’ interaction with the European Union and with France in particular,” said the deputy foreign minister.
Igor Sekreta noted that many formats of communication exist, and when country leaders speak with one another, it is a completely normal practice. “It shows that there is interest and that there are issues needing discussion. Naturally, after such conversations, instructions are given to the foreign ministries and to other agencies and bodies that work together.”
“Let me stress once again that the main positive outcome of this conversation is the increased interest in normal, fully civilized contacts, in communication that has been absent for several years now. I am confident that we will see more such contacts going forward, both through diplomatic channels and through other avenues. I believe that interesting discussions lie ahead. There is much to talk about, and we are ready for that. That is the key point. We have a broad range of issues that have been put on hold or that our partners have not yet responded to. We are committed to dialogue,” Igor Sekreta concluded.

Höre gerade den tollen Song 10:45 min ( Hörerbriefkasten) Was ist das für ein traditionelles Instrument im Soloteil, klingt etwas wie ein Dudelsack, aber der ist ja in Schottland:-)

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь.
