Azerbaijan’s major food producer intends to enter Belarus’ commodity exchange

Azerbaijan’s Novex Group, which unites four manufacturing companies and one distribution enterprise, has announced its intention to sell fruit juices and concentrates on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) following online negotiations with BUCE representatives, the exchange’s press service told BelTA.
 
Novex Group is a major player in the food market, supplying a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, fruit and vegetable preserves, sauces, and bakery products not only to Azerbaijan but also to many countries worldwide. Through the exchange platform, the Azerbaijani company plans to reach key consumers of juice products in Belarus and establish regular sales of both finished juices and nectars, as well as raw materials for their production, primarily pomegranate and apple concentrates.
 
“Sales of food raw materials on the domestic market are among the most dynamically developing segments of exchange trading. In January-March of this year, trade in this category increased by 67% to Br34 million, or nearly $12 million. Sixty-five buyers participated in trading and concluded deals, including leading Belarusian food industry enterprises. During the same period, 127 organizations acted as suppliers of food raw materials on the exchange, including non-resident companies,” said Deputy Head of Foreign Economic Relations at BUCE German Puzyrny.
 
According to BUCE, in January-March 2026, Azerbaijani participants concluded exchange contracts totaling $26 million, exceeding the figure for the same period in 2025 by 2%. Belarusian lumber exports dominated the turnover structure, accounting for 89%. In addition, dry milk, butter, dry whey, dry cream, and beef by-products were supplied to Azerbaijan through the exchange. No exchange transactions for the import of Azerbaijani products were recorded in the first quarter of 2026.
 
Currently, 209 Azerbaijani companies are accredited on BUCE, which is 19 more than at the beginning of the year.
 
Founded in 2004, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange conducted its first trading session in June 2005. BUCE is one of the largest commodity exchanges in Eastern Europe. Its main function is to assist Belarusian enterprises with export and foreign companies with entering the Belarusian market. BUCE sells a wide range of metal, forestry and agricultural products, industrial and consumer goods.

21st June was fifth International Yoga Day observed across the world. The theme for Yoga Day 2019 was "Yoga for Climate Action”. On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)
