Snopkov outlines tasks for new head of Great Stone industrial park

First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov has introduced Tatiana Kharlap, the new Head of the China–Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone, to the park’s staff, BelTA has learned.

While presenting the new head, Nikolai Snopkov highlighted that the park operates under a clear system modeled on the China–Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park. Under this system, the management company is responsible for investments, while the park administration is in charge of liaising with government agencies. It ensures the most convenient and expeditious handling of all administrative procedures, from business registration to the launch of a company’s production and financial activities.

It was for this reason that the first deputy prime minister particularly underscored the importance of digitalization in the administration’s operations. “Ninety-eight percent of all procedures undertaken by resident companies of the China–Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone must be digitized. We have agencies that can help implement these plans,” he emphasized.

Draft amendments to the decree on the park’s operations are currently in the works. Nikolai Snopkov requested the new leadership to review the proposed amendments again and, if necessary, add new functions or suggest other measures to foster more active cooperation with government bodies on the park’s development.

The first deputy prime minister noted that Tatiana Kharlap was at ground zero of the Great Stone project, including the earliest negotiations with Chinese companies, and therefore understands its structure better than anyone. “I sincerely hope that you will be able to accomplish all the tasks set for the new team,” Nikolai Snopkov stressed.

Tatiana Kharlap stated that she has a clear understanding of the functional division between the management company and the administration. “Our primary objective is, of course, to provide high-quality service to resident companies. We must adopt the best practices available in China. At one time, the Suzhou Industrial Park was unique in this respect. Now, I believe, all of China already operates digitally when interacting with investors,” she said.

As for other tasks, the new administration head indicated that project implementation schedules will be revised to ensure that initiatives are fully operational and reach their designed capacity.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed Tatiana Kharlap Head of the Administration of the China–Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone on 15 January 2026. She previously served as Consul General in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

21st June was fifth International Yoga Day observed across the world. The theme for Yoga Day 2019 was "Yoga for Climate Action”. On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.

das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)
