FM: Belarus will continue the course towards multipolarity and multilateral cooperation

Belarus will continue its course towards the development of multipolarity and multilateral cooperation, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov said at a high-level event on the Global Development Initiative organized by China during the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, BelTA has learned.
 
Maxim Ryzhenkov noted that the Global Development Initiative, along with other initiatives proposed in recent years by Chinese President Xi Jinping in the areas of security, intercultural dialogue, and global governance, as well as the Belt and Road Initiative are examples of responsible global leadership.
 
“It is particularly important that this leadership has manifested itself in conditions of international instability and uncertainty caused by the crisis of the Western liberal system. All these initiatives are based on the understanding that only through joint efforts, only by forming a ‘community of shared human destiny’, can we tackle global challenges and lay the foundations for a fair multipolar world,” the Belarusian diplomat emphasized.
 
The global initiative in the field of development has a solid foundation, which is China's own experience, including successes in lifting hundreds of millions of people out of poverty.
 
Developing countries are expected to receive significant benefits from both this initiative and other forms of Chinese support.
 
“Belarus has supported the Global Development Initiative from the very beginning. We joined the Group of Friends of the Initiative and the network of centers for promoting global development. At the beginning of 2023, Belarus and China signed a memorandum of understanding for its implementation, and today we are already working on specific joint projects,” the minister stated.
 
Maxim Ryzhenkov added that Belarus and China consistently advocate for multipolarity, peace, development, and multilateral cooperation.
 
“Belarus will continue this course, contributing to the implementation of China's global initiatives and promoting its own proposals,” the Belarusian minister added.
 
The Global Development Initiative was proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2021 during the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. It aims to ensure the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and envisions that countries should develop cooperation based on the principles of solidarity and mutual respect, striving for mutual benefit.
 
In subsequent years, China also formulated the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative. These three global initiatives of China lay down the principles upon which China is currently building its foreign policy.

21st June was fifth International Yoga Day observed across the world. The theme for Yoga Day 2019 was "Yoga for Climate Action”. On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

Хацелася б даведацца, цi плануе радыёстанцыя вяшчанне на FM у Мiнску, бо ў заходнiх рэгiёнах Беларусi радыёстанцыя на FM працуе. У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь. На сёння ў Мiнску няма нiводнай англамоўнай цi iншамоўнай радыёстанцыi. З павагай, ваш слухач Сяргей.
