An ambitious program has been prepared for guests and participants of the national rural workers festival Dazhynki 2012.

This year’s celebration of the harvesting campaign end is taking place in the Belarusian town of Gorki on 21-22 September.
Dazhynki 2012 guests are in for a massive entertainment program. Over 3,500 artists will keep visitors in a festive mood at ten main venues. Russian and Belarusian pop stars Rinat Ibragimov, Oleg Gazmanov, Vera Brezhneva, Irina Dorofeyeva, Inna Afanasyeva, Ruslan Alekhno and other ones will perform.
Our correspondent Tatyana Gargalyk will tell you about the program of the festival in detail:

           “The program of the festival is rich in events. It is aimed at a wide audience of all ages and tastes – events for the youth and children, rich cultural program, sport events.
There are plans for various concerts and entertaining events, theater performances, book fairs, a live exhibition of folk crafts, a celebration for children, an air show, gaming and dancing programs, a premiere of a musical, a dancing marathon of children’s choreographic collectives and a lot of other things.
            In one word, during the whole week-end Dazhynki will celebrate the harvesting campaign end and people who were directly involved in it – farmers and agricultural workers. And of course, the key event will be the ceremony to award the best agricultural workers.
          Let’s note that the town’s major pride is a highly developed agro-industrial complex, which includes about 100 thousand hectares of lands, dozens of agricultural organizations and farms as well as industrial and processing enterprises. Gorki welcomes not only guests, but also investors. The event is a good opportunity to expand economic relations with other regions of not only Belarus. I think that all those who come to Gorki won’t regret about it. This is why I welcome all our listeners to a wonderful town of Gorki”.

21st June was fifth International Yoga Day observed across the world. The theme for Yoga Day 2019 was "Yoga for Climate Action”. On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

Вельмi падабаюцца перадачы на замежных мовах, якiя даюць магчымасць не толькi даведацца, што адбываецца ў Беларусi i за яе межамi, але ж i ўдасканалiць веды ангельскай, нямецкай, французскай моваў, праслухаўшы перадачы. Хацелася б даведацца, цi плануе радыёстанцыя вяшчанне на FM у Мiнску, бо ў заходнiх рэгiёнах Беларусi радыёстанцыя на FM працуе. У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь. На сёння ў Мiнску няма нiводнай англамоўнай цi iншамоўнай радыёстанцыi. З павагай, ваш слухач Сяргей.
