Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko promised creatives that Belarus will always offer them the opportunities to fulfill their talents during the opening ceremony of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk festival on 16 July, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that art is “so needed today in our Slavic family, in our commonwealth.”
Addressing the artists and creators, the head of state said: “Do what you do best! And stay out of politics. Do your job, make people happy. We don’t get too many joyful days anyway. That is why what is going to happen on this stage in Vitebsk is encouraging. This is our life. This is our future.”
The president wished everyone happiness, good health, success, a long life, and joy.
