China to finance equipment supplies for high-tech medical care center in Mozyr

The government has approved an international technical assistance project “Improving the quality and accessibility of medical care for the population living in areas affected by the Chernobyl NPP accident”. The corresponding resolution of the Council of Ministers was signed by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.
 
The project is financed by the Government of the People’s Republic of China in the amount of $2 million. Administrative management of the project will be provided by the UN Development Programme in the Republic of Belarus.
 
As part of the project, equipment and medical products will be supplied to the interdistrict center for specialized and high-tech medical care, established on the basis of the Mozyr Central City Polyclinic. The project also includes activities to increase public awareness on health promotion.
