During the second session of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress, Belarusian President and Chairman of the Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko supported the proposal that political parties should oversee certain areas of the country’s development, BelTA has learned.

 

The proposal was put forward at the Congress session by Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich.

 

“Together with party leaders we will consider which areas a party could oversee. It is a good proposal. I am fully in favor of it,” the president said.
