EDB: Strong wage growth remains in place in Belarus

Belarus continues to experience strong wage growth, reads the macroeconomic review by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), BelTA has learned.
Real wages rose by 7% in October 2025 year-on-year, following an 8.6% increase in September. The public sector continues to experience a higher growth rate: 9.8% in October after 10.8% in September, which was supported by an increase in the base wage rate.
"Sustained wage growth will continue to support domestic demand,” EDB analysts said.
