Vladimir Kopytov has been named head coach of the Belarusian national Greco-Roman wrestling team, reporters learned from the Belarusian Wrestling Federation.
"Vladimir Kopytov is a good athlete and coach. He is full of energy and has worked with children, cadets, and the youth. Today, it is time for him to head the national team. It is a person with big knowledge and experience,” Chairman of the Belarusian Wrestling Federation Kamandar Madzhidov said.
Vladimir Kopytov replaced Igor Petrenko.
Wrestling makes part of the 2nd European Games. Eighteen wrestling medal events will be held in the Minsk Palace of Sports in June 2019.
