Belarus, Russia to hold another round of talks on 2013 oil supplies in March

In March Belarus and Russia will hold another round of talks on the supply of oil and oil products in 2013, First Vice Premier of Belarus Vladimir Semashko told reporters.
"The negotiations are ongoing. They never stop. But in March we will examine this issue closely,” the First Vice Premier explained.
Belarus expects to import 23 million tonnes of oil from Russia this year, said Vladimir Semashko. This figure is based on the amount of Russian oil to be delivered in Q1 this year both through pipelines and by rail. The Q1 amount stands at 5.75 million tonnes. If this amount is multiplied by four quarters, the total for the year will be 23 million tonnes. If Russia had previously proceeded from the 18.5 million tonnes we discussed earlier, the amount of oil in the first quarter would be less, said the First Deputy Prime Minister.
Vladimir Semashko also added that Belarus fully meets its commitments in terms of supply of oil products to Russia.
