        After five tours Lille is 12th in French Ligue 1 having 6 points (1 victory, 3 draws and 1 defeat). Olympique Marseille tops the table with 15 points.
        In Bundesliga Bayern Munich won its home match against FSV Mainz 05 3:1. Bayern share the Bundesliga top spot with Eintracht Frankfurt boosting 9 points of 9 possible.
        In Spanish La Liga Valencia CF battled past Celta de Vigo at home 2:1. Valencia are on the 10th spot in the national championship with 10 points (1 victory, 2 draws and 1 defeat). Barcelona tops the tournament table with 100%-result of 12 points.
        BATE will play six games in the Champions League. After the match against Lille Viktor Goncharenko’s side will take on Bayern at home on 2 October. The 3rd and 4th matches BATE will play against Valencia at home and away on 23 October and 7 November respectively. On 20 November BATE will host Lille in Minsk and will then travel to Germany to try to gain something from the Bayern Munchen tie on 5 December.
         Two best-placed teams in each group progress to the Champions League play-off that will be played in 2013. The third-placed clubs will advance to the play-off of the Europa League, the second important football tournament in Europe
