Lukashenko sees great potential for expanding Belarus-Côte d'Ivoire cooperation

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Alassane Dramane Ouattara, President of Côte d'Ivoire, as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
 
The head of state noted that Côte d'Ivoire ranks among the world’s fastest-growing economies. “This undoubtedly serves as compelling evidence of the effectiveness of the government’s chosen course and unlocks new opportunities for international cooperation,” the message of greetings reads.
 
The president emphasized that the dialogue between Minsk and Yamoussoukro is founded on the principles of friendship, trust, and mutual respect, with Belarus viewing Côte d'Ivoire as one of its most promising trade partners in Africa. “We see significant potential for expanding cooperation,” the Belarusian leader pointed out. “We can share our successful experience in implementing projects across Africa, particularly in training skilled personnel for various industries and enhancing food security, including through the supply of agricultural machinery and equipment, fertilizers, technologies, and food products.”
 
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that future high-level visits and active collaboration between the business communities of both countries would yield substantial mutual benefits.
 
The Belarusian president wished his Ivorian counterpart strong health, unwavering spirit, and boundless energy, and extended his wishes for peace and harmony to the people of Côte d'Ivoire.
