Belarus’ gold, forex reserves at $8.923bn on 1 January 2025

According to preliminary data, Belarus’ international reserve assets totaled the equivalent of $8.923 billion as of 1 January 2025, BelTA learned from the website of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
The country’s gold and foreign currency reserves went up by $127.7 million (or 1.45%) in December 2024 after falling by $139 million (1.6%) in November 2024.

According to the main monetary management guidelines for the year 2024, Belarus’ international reserve assets were projected to be at least $6 billion at the end of 2024.
