Cuban president wishes success to Belarus chairmanship in EAEU in 2025

Cuba (an observer state in the EAEU) is committed to developing mutually beneficial cooperation with the EAEU and its member states, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez said at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council via a video link, BelTA said.

“In the year of the 10th anniversary of this most important mechanism of economic integration, I would like to reaffirm Cuba's commitment to developing mutually beneficial cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union and the member states of this association. As an observer state, we once again express our readiness for further and more active involvement in the mechanisms of the union for deeper integration,” the Cuban leader said.

He emphasized that Cuba attaches great importance to strengthening ties with the EAEU states.

Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez wished success to Belarus, which takes over the chairmanship of the EAEU in 2025. “Especially to President and friend Aleksandr Lukashenko,” he added.
