93 international observers have already been accredited to monitor the presidential election in Belarus, Chairman of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko said at a CEC meeting in Minsk on 23 December, BelTA learned.
“93 foreign (international) observers have already been accredited to observe the election in the country. These include observers of the CIS mission, MPs, representatives of the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, election authorities of foreign countries, independent observers,” Igor Karpenko noted.
The presidential election in Belarus is scheduled for 26 January 2025.
