Slovakia intends to assist Belarus-EU relations

    Slovakia intends to assist the development of relations between Belarus and the EU, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Slovakia to Belarus Jozef Migas told reporters on the sidelines of the Belarusian-Slovak Business Forum Innovations – The Path Towards Successful Integration.

“On 1 July Slovakia assumed the Presidency in the Council of the European Union. We hope that we will be able to give traction to some issues concerning the relations between Brussels and Belarus. I think that we will not be able to finish the work during the Presidency of Slovakia, but we will start the process, which will be further developed,” the Ambassador said.

Jozef Migas emphasized that the parties should also think over the visa facilitation.
