Czech cultural center may be opened in Brest

         The Czech cultural center may be opened in Brest, BelTA quotes Honorary Consul of the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Brest Vladimir Mikulic. The first step towards setting up the cultural center will be the Czech language courses that will be organized under the aegis of the Honorary Consulate by the new academic year. Course participants will get an opportunity to obtain a certificate that gives the right to study at Czech universities free of charge. As for cultural projects under the aegis of the Consulate, these will include artistic and photo exhibitions. One of the most important joint projects, in which the Consulate will take part, will be the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the publication of Francysk Skorina’s Bible both in the Czech Republic and Belarus.
