Women’s BC “Olympia Grodno” suffered their second narrow defeat in the Eurocup group B.

        Belarusian women’s basketball club “Olympia Grodno” suffered their second narrow defeat in the Eurocup group B.
       On the second matchday the Belarusian club lost in away game to BC “Saint Amand” from France with the score 60:65.
       The Belarusians played head-to-head with their opponents and even enjoyed a 48:47 lead before the start of the fourth quarter. But “Olympia” failed to secure their advantage, having conceded with the difference of 5 points in the very end of the match.
        The top scorer on team “Olympia” was Maria Popova, who scored 23 points.
Let us remind you that in the starting home match on the 25th of October in Lida, BC “Olympia” lost to BC “Young Cats” from Belgium in overtime with the score 74:75.
      In the other match of group B “Young Cats” lost at home to Turkish BC “Ankara” with the score 69:80.
After 2 matchdays the leaders are “Saint Amand” with 4 points, “Ankara” and “Young Cats” have 3 points, while “Olympia” have only 2 points.
