Instruments to support Eurasian Economic Union export in development

The Eurasian Economic Commission is working together with representatives of the business community to develop instruments to support export of the Eurasian Economic Union member states. The statement was made by Andrei Slepnev, Minister for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission, after the meeting held in Moscow to discuss trade matters with representatives of the business associations of EEU member states. According to the Minister, the instruments include a matrix of export priorities broken down in accordance with industries and geographic locations. There are plans to determine the possibility of reducing import duties on components within the next two months to allow the private sector in the Eurasian Economic Union to reduce the cost of end products.
The Eurasian Economic Commission will continue working to improve the conditions that encourage the private sector of the Eurasian Economic Union to reach foreign markets.
