Belarus doesn’t need war-mongering democracy, Alexander Lukashenko said

People need a normal life, normal economy and security rather than revolutions, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with The Independent and the BBC news channel.
“Democracy, and you know well the translation of this word, must come from the people. They delegate this power to you at elections, and you administer this power for the people.
“Belarusians do not need this democracy if there is no economy. If a man cannot work in his own country and earn his living, if he cannot take a piece of land, if he cannot build a house, plant a tree, raise his children because he is scared to let them go outside,” the President said.
And most importantly, and you will have no counterarguments against this, is that the form of the democracy that exists in America and your country is unacceptable for us. We do not need the democracy that kills millions of innocent people outside of the country.
“After what you have done, by some mistake or for some other reason, you, Americans, Nato, the West, should sit quietly like mice under the broom, and do not make a sound! You do not have the right to speak not only in the UN. You do not have the right to talk about anything because you killed people! Two generations, until the children will forget what you have done! But here you are, lecturing us,” the President said.
"We do not need such democracy. We do not need the export of revolution!” he added
