In 2013 Belarus can import 5 billion kWh of electricity from Russia.

In 2013 Belarus can import 5 billion kWh of electricity from Russia, Energy Minister of Belarus Alexander Ozerets told reporters.
Alexander Ozerets said that the electricity balance for 2013 has been agreed. Electricity import from Russia is envisaged at the level of 5 billion kWh. Of those 3 billion kWh are guaranteed deliveries, and 2 billion kWh will be imported provided there are economic benefits.
Belarus is also exploring the option of importing electricity from Ukraine. "We are working on this issue,” said Alexander Ozerets said.
The Energy Minister of Belarus stressed that given the fact that Belarus is going to commission generation facilities of the 450MW total capacity, import of electricity will be reduced. Alexander Ozerets said that this year Belarus plans to import 7 billion kWh of electricity, of which approximately 5 billion kWh will come from Russia.
