Belarus, Lithuania to discuss military cooperation

     Belarus’ Air Force and Air Defense Commander Major General Oleg Dvigalev and his Lithuanian colleagues will discuss the prospects of the development of military cooperation between the two countries, the Belarusian Defense Ministry reports.
     Oleg Dvigalev is in Lithuania on a visit, in accordance with the plan of action to promote international military cooperation in 2015. During the visit the parties will discuss the status of implementation of the agreement between the Belarusian Defense Ministry and the Ministry of National Defense of Lithuania on information exchange on aircraft flights, cooperation in the field of search and rescue support in the Air Force and Air Defense of Belarus and the Air Force of Lithuania, and the state and prospects of development of military cooperation between the two countries in the field of air force and air defense,” the Belarusian Defense Ministry informed. The Defense Ministry said that the visit of Oleg Dvigalev to Lithuania will contribute to the further development of bilateral contacts in the field of air force and air defense and military cooperation between the two countries.
