A literature and music soiree, Turkey through Poets’ Eyes, was held in the House of Friendship

      A literature and music soiree, Turkey through Poets’ Eyes, was held in the House of Friendship to mark the Day of the Republic of Turkey, Ms Nina Ivanova, Chairwoman of the Presidium of the Belarusian Society of Friendship and Cultural Ties with Foreign Countries. In her words, such meetings have become a good tradition which allow getting closer to the Turkish culture, history and traditions. The organizers of these events are the Belarusian Society of Friendship and Cultural Ties with Foreign Countries and the Belarus-Turkey Society.
      Partaking in the meeting were creative intellectuals, students, representatives of the Turkish diaspora. The packed house was the best proof of Belarus and Turkey mutual interest to expand cultural relations.
Members of the Union of Writers of Belarus Irina Tulupova and Alina Legostayeva who had paid a visit to Turkey as part of the Belarusian delegation, shared their impressions about meeting with Turkish counterparts.
