Belarusian parliament has been renewed by 80%

        Over 80% of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus of the fifth convocation will comprise new MPs. 21 among those 109 who won seats in the parliament have been re-elected, the Central Election Commission reports.
According to the CEC, more than a quarter of new MPs are women (29 persons, or 26.6%). As for the age, all of the MPs are over 30.
       43 of 109 elected deputies are civil servants, almost 40% of the total. An estimated 23% of MPs are engaged in the education, culture, science and healthcare areas. 12.8% (14 MPs) are employed in the industry, transport and construction sectors. Over 7% are law enforcement officers and military. More than 3%, or 4 persons, are engaged in trade and public services, less than 3% - in agriculture. The rest 11% (or 12 persons) work in other spheres – they are athletes, bankers, reporters and judges.
No unemployed candidates have been elected to the parliament.
