The Days of the Belarusian Culture opened in Lithuania

        Around 650 artists are involved in the Days of the Belarusian Culture, which opened in Lithuania, Culture Minister of Belarus Pavel Latushko said at an opening ceremony at the National Philharmonic Hall in Vilnius.
       According to Pavel Latushko, the program of the current Culture Days, which will last until October 30, is rich and varied. Representatives of our country will show the Lithuanians the best samples of the Belarusian symphonic, ballet, dramatic and music art and folklore.
       Pavel Latushko said that Belarus and Lithuania had strong contacts in the sphere of culture, due to the close historical ties and based on a common cultural heritage. In recent years, the two countries have implemented a number of bilateral cultural projects.
       Belarusian Culture Minister expressed hope that the Lithuanian audience would appreciate the skills of Belarusian artists, and the Days of Culture would become a bright event. He said that the holding of the event would contribute to promotion of intercultural dialogue between the two countries.
