HC Dinamo Minsk extends head coach Lubomir Pokovic’s contract

     Slovakian specialist Lubomir Pokovic will continue his work as head coach of HC Dinamo Minsk in the 2014-2015 Kontinental Hockey League season. Andrei Kovalev will serve as chief coach.
       Besides, the Bisons coaching staff will include Vladimir Kopat, Alexei Shchelbanov and Alexander Makritsky who worked with the Slovakian specialist in the previous season. Lubomir Pokovic who turns 54 on 28 April 2014 coached HC Dinamo Minsk in 2005 when the team played in the Belarusian ExtraLeague. After that time he was part of the coaching staff of the Slovakian national ice hockey team. In January 2013 he returned to HC Dinamo Minsk as Alexander Andriyevsky’s assistant. In November 2013 Lubomir Pokovic replaced Alexander Andriyevsky on the post of the head coach.
        As for players, the Belarusian club signed goalkeeper Dmitry Milchakov to a one-year contract extension. Forward Alexei Kalyuzhny signed a new two-year contract with HC Dinamo Minsk.
