Belarusian BelAZ ships second batch of haul trucks to India

 

The second batch of Belaris-made haul trucks BelAZ 75137 has been shipped to India, the press service of the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ told BelTA. The second batch includes eight trucks with a carrying capacity of 136 tonnes. The first batch of BelAZ haul trucks was shipped to India in January. They are currently being assembled. The vehicles are part of a major contract for the delivery of 77 haul trucks. BelAZ and Coal India Limited signed the contract in October 2019. The construction of a maintenance center for Belarusian trucks continues in the immediate vicinity of the Gevra coal mine, where Belarusian BelAZ haul trucks will be used. The fence has already been placed. The territory layout has been completed. Design documentation has been issued and the construction of buildings has been launched. According to the agreements with India, BelAZ will supply spare parts and provide eight-year maintenance services.BelAZ is the world's leading manufacturer of haul trucks and transport equipment for mining industry and civil engineering industry as well as other heavy transport vehicles used in mining industry and civil engineering industry.
