MFA: No Belarusians hurt amid coup attempt in Turkey

          There has been no information about the Belarusian nationals hurt in Turkey, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. Belarus’ Embassy in Turkey and the Consulate General in Istanbul continue to monitor the situation. Ealier, the Mninistry issued a statement saying that Belarus resolutely condemns the criminal attempt to overthrow the government and expressed support to the President and the Government of the Republic of Turkey.
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko also sent a letter to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in connection with an attempted military coup in this country. In the letter the head of state expressed support and solidarity with the Turkish legitimate government , the press release of the press service reads.
