Days of Belarusian Culture to open in China on 26 November

        The Days of Belarusian Culture will be held in Beijing from 26 November to 2 December. The Belarusian music group Belye Rosy will open the Days of Belarusian Culture in the theater New Century. The program of the event features exhibitions of modern Belarusian graphic art and national costumes. The Chinese public will be able to see a feature movie Volki (Wolves) made by the Belarusfilm movie studio. The Belarusian delegation in China will be led by First Deputy Culture Minister Mr Vladimir Karachevsky. A cooperation protocol for 2012-2016 is expected to be signed by culture officials of the two countries during the visit.
        The Days of Belarusian Culture are organized by the Culture Ministry of the Republic of Belarus and the Culture Ministry of the People's Republic of China with the assistance of the Belarusian Embassy in China. The Belarusian diplomatic mission noted that cultural cooperation between the two countries is gaining momentum. The days of national culture are one of the major forums of the bilateral cooperation. The embassy expressed confidence that the Days of Belarusian Culture will become a remarkable event of the year 2012 that marks the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Belarus and China.
