The MAZ vehicles assembled in Vietnam will sell well in other Southeast Asia countries, too, BelTA quotes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Valery Sadokho.
The Ambassador remarked that it is advisable to promote Belarusian products onto markets of Southeast Asia countries by setting up joint ventures. Assembly-based production of MAZ vehicles has been launched in Vietnam. “We expect that the vehicles will sell not only on the Vietnamese market. Requests have been received from the Philippines, Laos, and other countries,” said Valery Sadokho.
Apart from that, MAZ urban buses are now assembled in Ho Chi Minh City. A pilot batch is supposed to be released in August. The Embassy expects that more transport service providers, who are interested in buying Belarusian buses, will emerge after the presentation for Ho Chi Minh City.
