Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to India and Sri Lanka Vitaly Prima paid a working visit to Colombo.
The Ambassador met with the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Sri Lanka Rishad Bathiudeen, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ajith Perera, as well as with the top management of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Board of Investment, Export Development Board and a number of local companies.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including political, trade and economic, legal fields.
Special attention was paid to the prospects of development of cooperation between Belarus and Sri Lanka, further steps to implement the agreements reached earlier have been identified.
