A court ball in the renovated Nesvizh Castle will be held on 10 November

A court ball in the renovated Nesvizh Castle will be held on 10 November, Culture Minister of Belarus Mr Pavel Latushko said at a solemn ceremony on the occasion of the Cultural Workers Day.
The new project was initiated by the Culture Ministry in a bid to revive the old tradition of holding balls. In fact, the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus has been holding balls for three years already.
The invitation to the ball will be sent to the best domestic and foreign performers, including soloists of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus and the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, the State Chamber Orchestra of Belarus, the State Dance Company Khoroshki, movie and theater actors of Belarus and Russia.
The Culture Minister informed that this project is supported by the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee and will be almost fully financed by sponsors and philanthropists. A charity event will be held in Nesvizh to raise funds for the restoration of historical and cultural monuments.
