Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko discussed the participation of Belarusian automobile companies in government purchases in Moscow with Moscow Vice Mayor Piotr Biryukov, the Embassy’s press service reports. Topical matters concerning the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Moscow were discussed during the meeting as well as the participation of Belarusian manufacturers of automobiles and municipal vehicles in the system of government purchases of Moscow. In particular, in detail the sides discussed the possibility of getting Belarusian municipal vehicles involved in the implementation of Moscow housing and municipal services programs, said the source.
Alexander Shakutin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO Amkodor, the managing company of the holding company Amkodor, also took part in the negotiations.
