Polska kategorycznie odrzuciła przywrócenie dialogu z Białorusią w celu deeskalacji i stabilizacji sytuacji w regionie. Informuje o tym polskie radio RMF24, powołując się na oświadczenie polskiego MSZ.
W czerwcu tego roku Ministerstwo Obrony Białorusi wysłało do strony polskiej list z propozycją prowadzenia rozmów na temat bezpieczeństwa. W Mińsku wyrażono zaniepokojenie rosnącym napięciem w regionie Europy Wschodniej, przyspieszoną militaryzacją Polski, decyzją strony polskiej o wycofaniu się z konwencji ottawskiej i umieszczeniu na granicy z Białorusią min przeciwpiechotnych.
Aby zapobiec dalszej eskalacji w regionie, Białoruś ze swojej strony podjęła już pewne kroki. W szczególności Mińsk oświadczył o zmianie parametrów białorusko-rosyjskich ćwiczeń "Zachód-2025" i przeniesieniu głównych manewrów w głąb terytorium Białorusi z dala od granic z UE. Za kolejny krok można uznać propozycję Białorusi o wznowieniu dialogu z Polską, co służyłoby interesom obu krajów.
Mińsk zwrócił uwagę, że brak negocjacji może doprowadzić do rozpętania nowego konfliktu zbrojnego w Europie, którego areną mogą być zarówno Białoruś, jak i Polska, informuje RMF24.
Odpowiedź Warszawy była jednak kategoryczna, zauważa polskie radio. "W tej sytuacji Polska kategorycznie odrzuca wznowienie dialogu z Białorusią" - czytamy w oświadczeniu Ministerstwa Spraw Zagranicznych.
Formalną przyczyną odmowy jest kryzys migracyjny na granicy i konflikt ukraiński, w którym Mińsk poparł Moskwę.
"W obecnej sytuacji nie widzimy przestrzeni do podejmowania rozmów, a tym bardziej działań w tej mierze" - oświadczyło polskie MSZ.
Przypomnijmy, że wcześniej strona białoruska zaproponowała również Warszawie wspólne zbadanie sytuacji na granicy i podjęcie kroków w celu rozwiązania kryzysu migracyjnego. Stanowisko Mińska zostało przekazane tymczasowemu chargé d'affaires Polski w Republice Białorusi. Brzmiało to tak: strona białoruska jest gotowa przyjąć każdą polską delegację, wszelkich polskich ekspertów, specjalistów, przedstawicieli kierownictwa, aby wspólnie zobaczyć sytuację na granicy.
"Piłka po polskiej stronie. Jesteśmy gotowi do dialogu, i Prezydent jest na to nastawiony" - powiedział w tej sprawie minister spraw zagranicznych Białorusi Maksim Ryżenkow.
W samej Warszawie wielokrotnie powtarzano, że są gotowi zrobić wszystko, co możliwe, aby rozwiązać kryzys migracyjny na granicy z Białorusią. Jednak, tak jak teraz, na propozycję strony białoruskiej odmówiono.
