Lukashenko offers condolences to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences to United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres over the tragic loss of UN workers in a plane crash, we learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader. “It is with great pain and sorrow that Belarus has learned the news about the tragic loss of 22 workers of UN organizations as a result of the passenger plane crash in Ethiopia. Of course, this is a big and irretrievable loss for the entire system of the United Nations Organization,” the message of condolences reads. On behalf of the Belarusian leader and himself the head of state expressed sincere condolences and support to the United Nations secretary general, families and friends of the victims.
