Radio Belarus International will  be airing programs in Arabic from 1 October. The radio’s new 2017-2018 season will see a number of innovations and interesting projects.
Today Radio Belarus International broadcasts in eight languages: Belarusian, Russian, English, German, Polish, French, Spanish, and Chinese. A new language, Arabic, will be introduced in the new season. The radio will air a special weekly social and political Arabic-language program entitled Meet Belarus!
    “Our country is rapidly developing cooperation with Arab countries in various fields, from policy to economy to social and cultural matter. This will be reflected by our programs. Thus, our potential audience will grow by some 345 million in different Arabic-speaking countries. It goes without saying that the programs will be prepared by native speakers,” Executive Director of Belarus Radio International Naum Galperovich said.
